Season changes

I love fall, but sometimes it's really a pain. I've been sick for a week now and it doesn't seem to be going away. It's okay-I guess-because I always get sick around this time of the year (or when ever the season changes). I just hope it goes away by October 10, because I really want to go to the Hmong new year (updates are at the bottom of my blog).

I CANNOT wait until Halloween comes around. I love to see all of the little kids dress up (they're so cute!). It's too bad that we moved out by Drugan's. Now I can't see all of the little kids dress up and I can't hand out any candy; that's all because we live out in the boonies. It's been three years since I handed out candy and watched all of the little kids saying, "Trick or Treat!" I also love the smell of the raked leaf piles! It reminds me of when my sisters and I were little. We used to rake up BIG piles of leaves and jump in! In the year of 2001-I was only 11-we raked up a pile of leaves as big as I was. We shaped it into a ring for my brother because he was handing out candy and doing a walk through kind of thing (that's when the movie "The Ring" came out). Then I was forced to hide in there and scare the kids coming for candy. That was the best Halloween I ever had! Halloween reminds me of my siblings because most of them are older than I am and they always had ideas for a good Halloween! What are your plans of a good Halloween this year?

I hope that you enjoyed reading this blog! Stay warm and don't get sick too!

Baobie,

I am excited for Halloween as well. My daughter loves to dress up and I usually dress to match what she is wearing. I love taking her trick or treating; it is always fun.

I am also looking forward to the Hmong New Year next weekend. I usually take my daughter and we both enjoy the dancing presentatiosn.
